IWU 1997 NCAA Division III National Champion Players Honored
Members of the IWU 1997 NCAA Division III National Championship men’s basketball team were honored at halftime of the IWU men’s basketball game on Febuary 4, 2017. Michael J. Sorich ’00 is now practicing plaintiff’s personal injury with Cavanagh Law Group after server 13 years at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. He will also concentrate in medical malpractice and wrongful death litigation. Having previously tried over 50 civil cases in the state & federal court and argued before the Illinois Appellate Court, he earned a reputation as tough and fair.
After graduating from IWU he received his Law Degree from John Marshall Law School. He has three children with his wife Katie and they reside in Western Springs.
