Mary Carrick a Midwest-based singer and actress, released her debut album,\u00a0Let\u2019s Fly<\/i>, on May 13, 2014.\u00a0\u00a0A collection of songs ranging from the American songbook and cabaret to musical theater, folk and more, the recording features music by Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Craig Carnelia, John Bucchino, Jason Robert Brown, and Hank Williams, among other great songwriters.\u00a0\u00a0Mary has co-produced the album with J. Gawf, resident music director of Opera Omaha.\u00a0\u00a0The recording is available through Amazon.com, iTunes, CDBaby.com, and through her website,\u00a0www.marycarrick.com.<\/a><\/p>\n

A graduate of the School of Music and active in the School of Theatre Arts, Mary\u00a0was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and the music fraternity Delta Omicron while at IWU.\u00a0Today she maintains an active performance schedule as a cabaret and concert singer with arts organizations, cabaret venues and theatres across the Midwest.\u00a0She resides in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband, Ben, and their two children.<\/p>\n
