Jayne Saniat will be inducted into the Oak Lawn Community High School Alumni Hall of Fame. She is a partner in ScribbleMonster, a children’s book and music series introducing kids to the joy of creating.

Eric Gardner ’89, Saginaw Valley State University professor, has written a new book that has been recently released by one of the world’s leading university presses, and it sheds new light on American literary history, particularly as it pertains to printed communication among African-Americans during and immediately following the Civil War.

Eric says…
My book … may be of special interest because a bit of it considers AME (African Methodist Episcopal Church) folks in Bloomington and that consideration was built in part from conversations with IWU Professor Pam Muirhead ’68 and her husband Jack Muirhead ’62.
