Cheryl was named interim chief nursing officer at El Camino Hospital in Mountan View, CA this summer.  She has worked at the hospital for 25 years.  Cheryl led the program to increase patient-centric care for elderly patients.  This year she was named a “Woman of Influence” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Beth Dahlenburg ’88 has been selected as owner/operator of a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Vernon Hills

Christine won the New York City International Film Festival’s Award for Best Comedy in a Short Film as director of the Nature of Hotness in summer of 2013.

“I am finishing my final semester at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School working on a Masters in Divinity with focus on pastoral care, and a Master of Arts in Bioethics. I will be doing my internship at the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity in Bannockburn Illinois for the spring semester of 2014.”

Deanna Jent, professor at Fotnbonne University in St. Louis, was featured in the Illinois Wesleyan University Magazine FAll 2013.  The article discusses the play, “Falling” she wrote from the personal experience of parenting a teen son with special needs.

Steve Seibring is taking on a new role in the Advancement Office as associate vice president for gift planning. He will direct all aspects of the IWU planned giving program, and continue to oversee the major gifts program.
