In less than two weeks, Titans will descend upon the IWU campus to celebrate Homecoming 2017! While counting down the days until we gather at our alma mater, let’s reminisce about our fondest IWU memories!
My favorite memories involve late nights spent on deadline in the Argus office with the dedicated newspaper staff, ensuring we covered the latest news on campus. Would anyone like to share their favorite IWU memories? Comment below.
If you are still finalizing your Homecoming itinerary, be sure to make a stop at the International RSO Fair featuring IWU’s multicultural registered student organizations, and enjoy activities and musical performances. Join in the fun on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Hansen Student Center, Center Court, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A light lunch will be provided; please register either online or by phone by Oct. 8.
For more information, visit the Homecoming Facebook page or the International RSO Fair Facebook event.
Sorry, I won’t be able to attend the Homecoming festivities. Some of my favorite memories center around time spent with the residents of Gulick Hall—weekday lunch breaks watching the “Kids” (All My Children), after dinner watching “Wheel of Fortune”, dressing in costume for the M*A*S*H finale, going to the IWU basketball games, the spring trips to Wrigley Field, the annual year-end slide show, and Tuesday night Late Night Happy Hour at Schooners!
