Ross Fraser (\u201978) is in his eleventh<\/span>\u00a0year as the director of media relations for Feeding America<\/strong>, the nation\u2019s largest hunger relief organization.\u00a0Feeding America<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0is the network of most of the food banks in the country. It distributes food to soup kitchens and food pantries across the nation.\u00a0This network<\/span>\u00a0feeds more than 5 million people each\u00a0week<\/i>\u00a0and will distribute more than\u00a04 billion pounds of food<\/i>\u00a0this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feeding America’s<\/strong> mission statement is\u00a0to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger.<\/p>\n

Feeding America<\/strong> is a nationwide network of food banks and food pantries and meal programs that provides food and services to people each year. Together, it is the nation\u2019s leading domestic hunger-relief organization. Their network serves virtually every community in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But Ross is not the only IWU graduate at Feeding America<\/strong>. Sam Harris (2010) works with the food industry to help get donations of food, and Tim Sunzeri (2011) is a senior budget analyst in the philanthropy department.<\/span><\/p>\n

Forbes Magazine rates Feeding America<\/strong> as the third\u00a0<\/span>largest charity in the U.S.<\/span><\/p>\n
