Hohenstein &#8217;76 passed away at home in South Bend, IN, on November 30, 2017, at the age of 62. He graduated from Mt. Auburn (IL) High School with the class of 1973 and held degrees from Illinois Wesleyan and Chicago Theological Seminary. Dr. Hohenstein pastored Methodist churches before earning a PhD from the University of Notre Dame, where he taught humanities for a time.
