In addition to the pleasure of meeting President and Mrs. Wilson, working with a great Reunion team of classmates and staff, and being amazed by the terrific new campus buildings there came a new connection to the University. That would be the Ames Library and its Archivist, Meg Miner. She is providing important research data for my project of a presentation on the Civil War service of John Wesley Powell to be given to the the Oklahoma Civil War historical roundtable in 2014.
