She continued to\u00a0 teach after\u00a0 she married in 1964 and as\u00a0 she\u00a0 then\u00a0 followed her husband\u00a0 Dan\u00a0 to Wisconsin where both taught at campuses of\u00a0 the University\u00a0 of\u00a0 Wisconsin System for many years .Nancy was a professor of Pediatric Nursing at Viterbo University in I.A Crosse, Wisconsin\u00a0 when she decided to retire this year. Viterbo honored Nancy at the May 11, 2013, Spring Commencement by investing her with the rank of Professor Emerita. Nancy and Dan, who are now both retired,\u00a0 raised three children Christopher,\u00a0 Erika &#8217;91 and Niki.
