{"id":1110,"date":"2015-09-20T19:40:05","date_gmt":"2015-09-21T00:40:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.iwu.edu\/1960sclassnews\/?p=1110"},"modified":"2015-09-20T19:40:05","modified_gmt":"2015-09-21T00:40:05","slug":"russ-seaton-69","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.iwu.edu\/1960sclassnews\/2015\/09\/20\/russ-seaton-69\/","title":{"rendered":"Russ Seaton &#8217;69"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Russ Seaton has spent much of his time since graduating from IWU in the performing arts. \u00a0He was Director of Performing Arts at La Pine High School, La Pine, Oregon for 14 years. \u00a0After retiring in 2003 he has continued to substitute teach. \u00a0Summers find Russ running The Hook Fly Shop in Sunriver, Oregon. \u00a0He also enjoys directing the High Desert Mountaineers, a Barbershop Chorus, and sings baritone with The Central Oregon Mastersingers. \u00a0 \u00a0He frequently sings <em>The Star<\/em> <em>Spangled Banner<\/em> and <em>O, Canada<\/em> at many sporting events in the Northwest. \u00a0In addition Russ continues to perform on stage just completing a run as &#8220;Pseudolus&#8221;
