\"william<\/a>Since winning the Metropolitan Opera Auditions in 1970, Bass-baritone William Powers, a student of the legendary George London, has been hailed by both audiences and critics for his riveting performances of the four villains of\u00a0The Tales of Hoffman<\/em>, Mephistopheles (Faust<\/em>), Iago (Otello<\/em>), Blitch (Susanna<\/em>), the title role in\u00a0Boris Godunov<\/em>, and over 100 roles with the Opera Companies of New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Paris, Bilbao, and Vienna, and dozens more worldwide.
