IWU Professor of Music, John Joseph McGrosso born November 14, 1915 passed away on February 3, 2017. A memorial service is being planned for the Spring. You may share your remembrances and thoughts with the family here.

Lee Short ’44, Director of Admissions from 1952-1978, passed away on January 4th. Services for Lee will be held Thursday, January 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church. An obituary will be published in The Pantagraph on Sunday.

Robert “Bob” Denny Kennedy ’60, age
79, of Pekin passed away at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016, at the Villas of Holly Brook in Pekin. A sports fanatic, he had been captain of the football team at Illinois Weslyan University. You may read his obituary here.
We are sorry to announce longtime IWU Advancement employee (retired) Harry Lovell ’60, passed away on Christmas morning after fighting cancer for just a few short weeks. Harry served the Advancement Office for 28 years. He had a special kind of enthusiasm for life and will be missed by his family and friends.
Carolyn Louise (Holcomb) Griffith of Indianapolis, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, in Franklin, IN.
