If you have been following the class blog, you will already know that Denny Matthews ’65 was one of the friends who distributed some of Marty Capodice’s ashes. Marty’s wife Arnie Arnesen contacted Denny and asked him to take one of the packets of Marty’s ashes to spread on a baseball field. Marty and Denny had been friends since kindergarten, played baseball together through high school and were St Louis Cardinal fans. The field could have been a local ball field or any baseball field. Mission accomplished thanks to Denny Matthews.
