  1. It’s great to hear you are still going strong. IWU days when I was also a student(62) was a long time ago. I haven’t been singing for a # of years. Last times were in Baltimore, Md. & Los Angeles, CA. as church/temple soloists and member of various choral organizations. Some of my classmates with whom I still share an E-mail or 2 are Dean Hey (trombone), Norma Watkins Stein (piano), Polen Butt Ho (piano).

  2. As an underclass[wo]man, I was blown away by the powerful (no pun intended) voice of the freshman who just entered the halls of Presser. Even in those halcyon days, there could be no doubt that Bill would move from filling the practice room with glorious basso profundo to filling concert halls and opera stages with that same natural and beautiful sound.

Sorry I have not been better in touch with you, but mu admiration of your talent still is strong. The human singing voice is a gift to each of us, and your voice gilds the lily!.

Enjoy the current season and know that I envy those sitting out there in the audience, wishing I were there!

Hope you are still creating artwork as well.

  3. Well hello Bill,
Great to read that you are still filling the hall with your big voice. I’m still singing in churches and a choral group in the Chicago area. Recently retired from my professional group, Chicago Choral Artists. I keep up with Dean and Jack Waddell on Facebook .
