While at IWU, Harriet Rosenberger studied Elementary Education, was a member of Kappa Delta and participated in the Wesleyana Yearbook.

After graduating, she married Donald Koch, a Murray State University graduate. The two have spent the past 15 years living happily in their home of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
