About Titan TV

Founded in 1997 by Student Senate, Titan TV serves three main purposes for the Illinois Wesleyan campus: movies, announcements and programming. On our two closed-circuit stations on the Illinois Wesleyan cable network (channels four and five), we show Hollywood movies, we air announcements and advertisements for other campus and local organizations, and we produce and broadcast original content.

Everyone involved with Titan TV gets paid well for their work with the station.

During the summer of 2008, Michael Gorman and others wrote an initialĀ Titan TV Handbook. For more information about the station, including the mission and vision statements, the history of the station, position descriptions and payment amounts, and much, much more, you can download the handbook or read through the simultaneously created Titan TV Constitution.

  1. Hi! I spoke to Laurie in the career center about my plans to go into film, and she suggested I get involved with the tv station. I didn’t even know it existed, and I would love to get involved any way I can! Please let me know how I can help. Thanks!
