Student Senate Speakout

I hope everyone is enjoying their Spring Semester thus far. This post will just have a few general announcements and will be left open for students who wish to post concerns to do so.

First, Student Senate has 4 meetings left this semester. They are:
February 24 - Starts at about 8pm after the Soul Food Dinner
March 9
March 30
April 13

Second, We have done some restructuring of commissioners, thus if you have any student concerns you may direct them to the Student Senate Parliamentarian, Steve Allhoff.

Third, Budget applications will be out soon, so please make sure your group picks one up and fills it. These may also be available at a later date on the website.

Finally, please feel free to post any student concerns here or email senate {at} iwu(.)edu with any questions you may have.

Welcome back everyone to another year of college. I hope that everyone has had a great summer and is refreshed and getting back into the grove of school. As always if you have any concerns you wished voiced feel free to leave a comment here. It can be anonymous or you can leave your name.

Still have a concern that you want to see addressed even though Student Senate is out for the rest of the year? If so post your concerns on here. Please remember that these are about concerns you have relating to Wesleyan.

Want something to do on Sunday, April 15? If so come to the Student Senate meeting at 7pm in the 2nd floor meeting room of Hansen. This is our last meeting for the year and bound to be an exciting one. These meetings are open to the entire student body, so if you aren’t a senator don’t feel like you can’t come, becuase you are more than welcome at the meetings. Part of the idea of this blog is to get students to post any concerns they wish to be voiced. The Student Concerns and Relations Committee therefore is asking that if you or your friends at Illinois Wesleyan have any concerns that you would like to have addressed during the Student Concerns meeting please post them here. The committee will handle the concerns that are in its scope and then foward any to the correct person to be addressed.
