Second Workshop!

Posted by Nathan Butters on 22 Oct 2009 | Tagged as: Staff Updates, Workshops

For our second round of workshops this semester we are going to be starting in the first two weeks of November. If you have a poem or short story you would like to have looked at by a group of your peers then this is a great opportunity to do so. The meeting times will be determined by interest and availability.

If you are interested:

Send an email to Pseudonym.Required {at} gmail(.)com with your name, 3 times that work best for you (Ex: Monday 7-9, Thursday 3:30-5, Sunday All Day), and whether the piece you would like to work on is Fiction or Poetry. Please do this by Tuesday, November 3rd.

First Workshop. Get excited!

Pseudonym Required will be hosting their first workshop, starting on Tuesday, September 15. If you have a piece of fiction or poetry that you would like to have reviewed by a group of your fellow writers, you should sign up.

There are two ways to sign up:

The first is to come to the Registered Student Organization fair on Friday the 11th and sign up at our table. Doing this will guarantee you a spot in one of our workshops.

The second way, if you can’t make it on Friday, is to email Pseudonym.Required {at} gmail(.)com with the subject “Workshop.” In the email you should include your name and email, as well as which days work best (ex: Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 6 and 10). You should also say which genre your piece falls in (fiction or poetry). Due to the fact that we may not have enough spots for everyone, those who show up on Friday will be granted priority when being placed in workshops.

One final note, groups will be divided up by 12am Sunday and the list of participants will be emailed to the staff facilitators at that point. It will then be up to the group to find a time to meet and have the first meeting.
