The next submission deadline is Wednesday, November 4th at Midnight. If you would like to have a group of your peers read, review, and possibly edit your work you should submit it to us. We look forward to working on your pieces and hope to see an increase in the volume of submissions over the course of this semester.

For our second round of workshops this semester we are going to be starting in the first two weeks of November. If you have a poem or short story you would like to have looked at by a group of your peers then this is a great opportunity to do so. The meeting times will be determined by interest and availability.
If you are interested:
Send an email to Pseudonym.Required {at} gmail(.)com with your name, 3 times that work best for you (Ex: Monday 7-9, Thursday 3:30-5, Sunday All Day), and whether the piece you would like to work on is Fiction or Poetry. Please do this by Tuesday, November 3rd.

The next rolling deadline for submissions is this Wednesday, October 7th at Midnight! If you did not submit a piece the first time around I strongly encourage you to do so this time. Our readers and editors look forward to providing constructive criticism on your works, and I look forward to seeing if we can post them on the site.

We’ll be accepting them up until Wednesday, September 23rd at 12am. If you’ve ever wondered if your short stories and poetry were ready for publishing you should submit them to us and find out. Our readers and editors look forward to looking at your material and providing constructive feedback.

Pseudonym Required will be hosting their first workshop, starting on Tuesday, September 15. If you have a piece of fiction or poetry that you would like to have reviewed by a group of your fellow writers, you should sign up.
There are two ways to sign up:
The first is to come to the Registered Student Organization fair on Friday the 11th and sign up at our table. Doing this will guarantee you a spot in one of our workshops.
The second way, if you can’t make it on Friday, is to email Pseudonym.Required {at} gmail(.)com with the subject “Workshop.” In the email you should include your name and email, as well as which days work best (ex: Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 6 and 10). You should also say which genre your piece falls in (fiction or poetry). Due to the fact that we may not have enough spots for everyone, those who show up on Friday will be granted priority when being placed in workshops.
One final note, groups will be divided up by 12am Sunday and the list of participants will be emailed to the staff facilitators at that point. It will then be up to the group to find a time to meet and have the first meeting.

After the meeting on Saturday, the staff decided that we needed to take a step back and try to recruit more people before launching. That being said, everything has been moved back, past the Student Organization Fair on Friday, September 11th. We will be spending the next two weeks recruiting people as readers and editors. If you think you might be interested, please email Pseudonym.Required {at} gmail(.)com.

The website to house submissions has finally been updated to our specifications and is ready for use. With the summer quickly disappearing before us, the editors will try to figure out if we can run a full test of the process before the school year. This is what you’ve all been waiting for. Please be patient while we organize and prepare to set the journal in motion.

We are currently in the process of obtaining a website to sort out submissions. It should be completed by the middle of May, which means we will have an opportunity to do a trial run before the end of the year. In order to get this done we will have a small window for submissions so keep your eyes open for more updates as the semester ends.
On another note the constitution should be up by the 15th of April.

Anyone who is currently interested in applying for a position as a reader, or editor, should email Pseudonym.Required {at} gmail(.)com. I am currently working with a few people in order to get a solid foundational group, but I know that I cannot reach everyone who may be interested. Thus, I will remain open to anyone who expresses interest until all current reader/editor positions have been filled.
