Yang Wei, Pipa Master

Yang Wei, a Pipa master who traveled with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble, visited Illinois Wesleyan University on January 25, 2011 to present a program of traditional and contemporary Chinese music. Yang presented the world premiere of Color Garden, an original composition by IWU music professor, David Vayo.
