University Internet Bandwidth

This is a graph of how much Internet traffic the University used yesterday (measured in 5 minute intervals.) The green shows inbound internet traffic, and the blue line is outbound traffic. It’s pretty typical of what we see for daily Internet use.

Card System upgrade update

We made good progress on the card system upgrade over Spring break, but were unable to complete all the work. Food services needed additional time to configure the new registers. Insight to Comcast transition

Over the past few weeks cable service in Bloomington-Normal has gone through a transition as services have moved from Insight to Comcast. Banner upgrade complete

The new Banner server is now in place, we’ve finished work on my.iwu that would affect e-mail, and we’ve connected Banner to my.iwu.
All my.iwu services are now working.

Unfortunately, the focus groups on IT services scheduled for today and tomorrow have been canceled.
Our thanks to everyone who volunteered. We did get a sufficient number of volunteers, but the researchers from Pepperdine had their flight canceled, and were unable to reschedule in time to make today’s sessions.
